This Handbook gives an insight into the construction and usage of telecommunication cables. Telecommunication cables represent a large investment and provide a vital link in transmitting information. Accordingly, they must be designed to provide a consistent, reliable electrical path while resisting mechanical and environmental conditions imposed during their installation and service life.
